Looks well built and only for 100 bucks. Its a new world. Kids today, the sky is the limit for you guys! Wanna write a book? You don't need a publisher, wanna make music? You don't need a big company. Wanna build stuff? Get a 3 dollar Arduino, download free CAD software and get a 100 dollar 3d printer and you are well on your way!

Can you expllain how the UP - (Z axis) screw works to lift the platform - I cannot see any way you have anything on the bottom of the screw to lift rather than just un-screw out of the bottom platform.
Oh good...you put strain relief on the heater core and thermistor wires (keep em from popping out and burning up) You don't need to remove the bowden tube to load filament Neat little printer...kinda a mashup of an Anet A8 and a Tronxy X1...

I've got this printer and i think u missleading at step 3 the orientation of square hole , u made sign to not put distancers when the square hole is in the bottom-right position, but the step motor only in that face can be mounted.

Jack Keum heya, i managed to install on that side, but i switched faces from first 2 plexiglasses from step 1, those 2 pieces where the stepper motor is secured, anyway either step 1 is not correctly or step 4

On the paper calibration...I have an Ultimaker Original and this has always puzzled me a bit. Should the print head dig slightly into the paper (leave a small indentation) when you have it right? In your video, I heard the "thunk" of the print head hit the print surface when the paper was pulled out...so I think I am doing it right...?
You should feel some resistance on the piece of paper but still be able to easily pass the piece of paper between the nozzle and the build plate without tearing or damaging the paper. The nozzle shouldn't dig into the paper and it shouldn't leave a small indentation into the paper - this would mean the build plate is too close to the nozzle.The 'thunk' noise is probably the sound of the paper scraping against the nozzle as it is removed.
I understand its only the beginning of the 3D printing revolution but why does it look like we have taken a step back in time when it comes to 3D designs ? Most repositories have weird random objects that I would never buy if I found at a store. Quality is better than quantity ...
